Write a fine draft of your story with footnotes, following the guidelines below (due next Thursday 5/11).
1: Your fine draft should footnote EVERY STATEMENT OF FACT, NO MATTER HOW MINOR. Whenever possible, these footnotes should be links that I can click to see your source. You don't have to write formal footnotes or a bibliography.
2: Your fine draft should answer a central question with evidence (ie, it's not a policy paper, an opinion piece, or a simple statement of facts).
3: It should answer a central question with evidence (ie, it is not a policy paper, opinion piece, or simple statement of facts).Your story should be between 1,000 and 1,500 words (one single-spaced page is about 500 words). This word count does not include footnotes or research citations.
4: It must include at least 10 different research sources.
5: It must have a title.
6: You can Slack me this draft anytime before midnight Wednesday if you want my feedback on it before you present it in class.
7: Submit your fine, fact-checked draft on Brightspace by next Thursday 5/11 at the start of class. You should also have a copy available during class so we can workshop it.
